Homeschool Classes & Community in Brooksville, FL
Ivory & Sage Homeschool is based right here in Brooksville, FL, at 624 Erin Way. We run hands-on, nature-based classes and community for homeschooling families of every age — babies and toddlers through teens, plus adults-only workshops. You can drop in for a single class or sign up for a series.
Brooksville is home base. This is where the muddy boots, the garden beds, and the goodbye songs actually happen, and where most of our families first find us. We are not a full-time school or a curriculum you buy — we are the hands-on, get-outside, build-a-community part that fits around whatever you are already doing at your kitchen table.
Because we run programs for every age, a Brooksville family can grow with us. The same family might bring a toddler to an outdoor movement class, a ten-year-old to a nature or pioneer program, and a teen to a meet up — while a parent slips into an adults-only homemaking workshop. It is rare to find one local community that spans babies all the way through grown-ups, and that is on purpose.
We are right in the middle of the Nature Coast, so the outdoors does a lot of the teaching: oak hammocks, garden rows, the Florida growing season that never really stops. Families come to us from across Hernando County and beyond, but Brooksville is the heart of it. Many of our programs accept Florida Step Up For Students scholarship funding for eligible families.

Questions Brooksville parents ask
Where in Brooksville are you located?
Our home base is 624 Erin Way, Brooksville, FL 34601, in Hernando County. Most of our classes and events are held here, outdoors and hands-on.
What ages do you serve in Brooksville?
Every age. We run programs for babies and toddlers (0–4), kids, and teens (up to 17), plus adults-only classes for parents who want their own thing.
Do I have to homeschool to join?
Most of our families homeschool, but our classes are enrichment and community you add to your week — not a full-time school. Plenty of families simply want a good, hands-on weekday outing.
Can I try one class, or do I have to commit to a series?
Both options exist. Several programs have drop-in spots so you can come once and see how your child does, while others run as a short series. Check the schedule for what has room right now.
Do you accept Step Up For Students funding?
Yes, for eligible programs. Florida scholarship amounts and eligibility change year to year, so check current details with the scholarship organization, then reach out and we will help you use it.
