Her Voice is a fall semester class created especially for teen girls who are ready to grow in confidence, strengthen their communication skills, and better understand themselves and the world around them. This class offers a welcoming space where teens are encouraged to slow down, speak honestly, and explore their thoughts and ideas without pressure or judgment.
Through creative projects, guided discussions, journaling, and real-life conversations, students practice expressing themselves clearly and confidently. Topics may include identity, friendships, boundaries, values, goal-setting, and navigating everyday challenges teens face. Rather than focusing on right or wrong answers, Her Voice emphasizes thoughtful reflection, respectful listening, and meaningful conversation.
Connection is at the heart of this class. Students build trust with peers while learning how to communicate their ideas, emotions, and needs in healthy ways. Group activities and discussions help teens practice collaboration, empathy, and leadership, while individual reflection allows them to develop a stronger sense of self and personal direction.
Her Voice is designed to support personal growth in a way that feels authentic and empowering. By the end of the semester, students leave with increased self-awareness, stronger communication skills, and greater confidence in using their voice—skills that will serve them well in relationships, academics, and life beyond the classroom. This class is ideal for teens who want a supportive, values-centered space to grow, connect, and be heard.
