History Quest: Renaissance & Age of Exploration

Step into one of the most exciting periods in history as students journey through the Renaissance and into the Age of Exploration.

This hands-on history class is designed to make the past feel active, creative, and memorable. Rather than simply reading about historical events, students will explore the people, ideas, inventions, artwork, discoveries, and voyages that helped reshape the world.

Throughout the semester, students will learn about famous Renaissance figures, groundbreaking inventions, major artistic achievements, early scientific discoveries, navigation, mapmaking, ships, explorers, trade routes, and the changing understanding of the world during this time.

History Quest combines history with teamwork, creativity, problem-solving, and immersive projects. Students may take part in building challenges, art and invention projects, map and navigation activities, group quests, historical mysteries, and longer-term projects that develop throughout the semester.
